Overview

Located in the vibrant Proscenium of Makati City, Spotted Pig Proscenium stands out as a refined coffee shop that merges comfort with culinary craftsmanship. This spot is far from your typical cafe; its ambiance carries a quiet sophistication, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking both relaxation and quality fare in Metro Manila’s bustling heart.

The espresso bar here is a true highlight. Signature drinks such as the Mint Chocolate Latte offer a masterful balance of rich espresso, mint freshness, and chocolate creaminess, delivering a uniquely indulgent experience without overwhelming sweetness. Meanwhile, the Espresso Tonic provides a refreshing, citrus-kissed twist that invigorates the palate—perfect for a light afternoon pick-me-up.

Spotted Pig’s menu extends beyond coffee, featuring thoughtfully composed bowls that cater to varied tastes. The Daing Na Bangus bowl, with its house-marinated bangus and eggs paired alongside tangy atchara, is a comforting local favorite elevated with care. Fans of heartier flavors can indulge in the Ginataang Pork Adobo, where crispy pork belly meets lush, creamy adobo sauce—a spicy, familiar dish given a fresh dimension.

Pastry lovers and dessert seekers will find gems like matcha and chocolate cakes that earn consistent praise. These treats complement the sea salt latte’s velvety notes or the robust character of the dirty oat Earl Grey latte, showcasing the cafe’s commitment to creative coffee artistry.

The space itself encourages socializing or moments of quiet focus. With free Wi-Fi and accessible power outlets, it doubles as a conducive spot for study or work, attracting students and professionals alike. The atmosphere, described by patrons as cozy and somewhat upscale, pairs well with attentive service that enhances the overall experience without being intrusive.

Customer testimonials highlight the attentive staff—Sir Joel and Ate from maintenance receiving special mentions for their warmth and thoughtfulness—as well as the value found in large portions and the genuine care given to every visit. While pricing leans toward the premium side, the quality and comfort justify the spend, making it a worthwhile destination for those who appreciate a blend of familiar Filipino flavors and elevated café culture.

For anyone in Makati seeking a place to savor well-crafted coffee, hearty bowls, or simply unwind in an inviting environment, Spotted Pig Proscenium offers a well-rounded experience. Given its popularity, it’s advisable to reserve ahead, especially during weekends when the vibrant crowd mirrors the city’s lively pulse.

Been here twice already! Our first visit was okay — it was a busy Sunday but the staff still accommodated us well. Food was great too! On my second visit, we celebrated our friend’s birthday and had such a fun time. Sir Joel was super nice, accommodating, and attentive — he really made our dining experience memorable! Also, thank you to Ate from maintenance who helped us with the surprise cake. Highly recommend this branch! Better to have a reservation. And their matcha and chocolate cake are must-tries!

My pals had coffee sesh after having lunch. A very cozy place to unwind and catch up with friends and loved ones. It offer gelatos, pastries, coffee and so on. It was a good experience to try. Not your typical cafe as it was fancier than the commercialized cafe. Pricey yet worth it!

i’m so glad we tried this place! their matcha is sooo good, i love it! the sticky bun was also really good, i loved the sweetness and nutty flavor. my friend ordered the sausage croissant and vanilla latte, and she really liked them. when we came around 9 pm, there were a lot of people, so we had to wait a bit before getting in, but it wasn’t too long. would love to come back here!

We had a great time. We especially loved the Danish and the coffee. The sea salt latte was honestly the best. The staff were proactive, kind and made us feel welcome. And kudos to our server, Simon he really knows what he’s doing and even explained the details about the coffee when we asked. Amazing service all around we’ll definitely be back.

Place looks great, nice ambience and easy to have a conversation. VERY dog friendly!!! Coffee was good! Had the peach tonic nice bitter and citrusy. Not too sweet. Food unfortunately sub par... I found it quite unimaginative. Their reuben had more lettuce than beef, no sauerkraut or Russian dressing. The sweet potato chips needed seasoning The tapa was on the tougher side but the garlic rice and eggs on point Overall nice place, good local for a brunch spot

Food: very good. Flavorful and well-balanced. Pretty surprised since the other reviews say it’s hit or miss. I think they’ve worked on improving the serving size and components of the dishes because I saw an older photo of the roasted chicken adlai (1st pic) with a smaller serving size and was less visually appetizing. Ambience: Warm and cozy. Good lighting and comfortable seating. Service: Disappointing, which I now realize is consistent in other reviews. I did reach out to the admin about this and was told they’d take this seriously. They really need to focus on this to make the overall experience better. Will def go back for the food :)
